Terms of Service

BookAFade is operated by 2319721 Ontario Inc. o/a BookAFade, a company incorporated in Ontario, Canada. By using BookAFade — whether to book an appointment as a client or to run your barbershop as a barber — you agree to these terms.

BookAFade provides software that lets barbershops accept online bookings and lets clients book appointments. 2319721 Ontario Inc. o/a BookAFade is the platform operator. The barbershop you book with is responsible for the services they provide. We are not a barbershop and we do not employ barbers.

If you sign up as a barber, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about yourself and your shop.
• Keep your account credentials secure and not share them.
• Only accept bookings for services you are qualified and licensed to perform.
• Honour appointments booked through BookAFade or notify clients promptly if you must cancel.
• Pay the applicable subscription fee. Access to the platform requires an active subscription.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, are inactive, or are used fraudulently.

When you book an appointment through BookAFade, you are booking directly with the barbershop. The shop sets its own cancellation and no-show policies. BookAFade is not responsible for the quality of services provided by the shop or for a shop's failure to honour a booking.

Barber subscriptions are billed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise 2319721 Ontario Inc. o/a BookAFade to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the rate shown at signup. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods. If you cancel, your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

By booking an appointment, clients consent to receive booking confirmations and appointment reminders by SMS. These messages are transactional, not marketing. Reply STOP to any message to opt out.

You may not use BookAFade to:

• Submit false or fraudulent bookings.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Attempt to access or interfere with any other user's account or data.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy any part of the platform.
• Violate any applicable law or regulation.

To the maximum extent permitted by Ontario and Canadian law, 2319721 Ontario Inc. o/a BookAFade is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of BookAFade, including missed appointments, lost revenue, or service disputes between clients and barbershops.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that it will meet your requirements. You use it at your own risk. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Canadian law that cannot be limited or excluded by agreement.

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of BookAFade after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
